Job Requirement - Manager
Position Title: Manager - TransportLocation: Across India
Qualification: Professional degree/ Graduates in Mechanical Engineering with 5+years of Experience ( or ) Diploma in Automobile/ Mech engg with 7+ years of experience in Transport operations
Proposed Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire transport activities of the company which includes its utilization, routing of vehicle, cost and buying and replacing of vehicle.
- Analysis of Vehicle Data’s (Cost Analysis, utilization, Ideal Vehicle, return load details, Type/make of Vehicle) and submit monthly MIS to GM SCM.
- Tracking & controlling, ensure maintenance of different vehicles in various locations.
- Identifying the life time of each vehicle, Checking of vehicles for compliance & maintaining the records of complaints and solve the issues if any.
- Assessing the vehicle requirements at regions.
- Shall possess through knowledge in different type/make of Vehicle available in the market and the efficiency of each type/make of vehicle.
- Good geographical knowledge of the entire country. Exposure to ERP. Fluency in English and Hindi is desirable in addition to one south Indian language.
